Low-Speed Straw Cutter

 The Chaff Cutter is approved according to the "Brandteknisk Vejledning nr. 22" (The Danish Fire technical Instruction No. 22) which is a voluntary control system (H.F.A)This means that the cutter may be placed directly inside the straw storage room.

Chaff Cutter or slow-speed (2,5 r.p.m) cutting/miling machine for the somminution of straw bales for automatic boiler plants. The cutter is special in design: it whirls up no dust, makes no noise (apart from engine noise), at worst it takes stones with a diameter up to 6 cm, it does not run warm during operation thanks to the low speed, it can comminute the materiale regardless of moisture content, plastic strings or changes in composition. The cutter does not split the straw and therefore no dust is whirled up. The power consumption is very low - less than 8 kW/ton at 300 kg to 2000 kg straw per hour.
